Get Glassy Skin with Dermaplaning

We LOVE dermaplaning. We offer it on its own, added on to a facial, or paired with a peel. It is an excellent way to get that great glassy glow (without having to use a phone filter). Great for proms, weddings, a big night out, or just for healthy skin maintenance.

💪Benefits of Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning eliminates the first layer of skin cells (the epidermis) on the face along with any tiny (vellus) hairs that are otherwise hard to remove. It removes all of the peach fuzz and dead skin cells, leaving you with an instant glow that lasts 2-4 weeks. Contrary to popular belief, it does not cause hair to grow back thicker or coarser. Make-up glides on and stays smooth for maximum performance and skin care product absorbs with ease.

🧖‍♀️What to Expect in a Treatment

Your experienced aesthetician will cleanse and steam your face to prepare your skin. They will then

glide a scalpel gently over the skin to remove only the epidermal layer and vellus hairs. Treatments are

painless and take 15-30 minutes to complete. Take care of your delicate post-treatment skin with a

gentle cleanser and a moisturizer rich in hyaluronic acid. You should also use a good SPF moisturizer.

🚨Important Things to Note

Avoid the use of peels or products containing retinol for at least 2 weeks after treatment. Tell your

clinician if you have a history of cold sores, as special precautions need to be taken to avoid the area

and prevent any spread. You should avoid dermaplaning if you have active/severe acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, or plan on getting a lot of sun in the 2 weeks following treatment.

Don't try this at home! The beauty industry can sometimes mislead people by making certain devices

commonplace on the shelves of drug stores. We assure you, seek out a clinician you trust for this service. Without the correct technique, the treatment can result in scarring, infection, and exacerbation of skin concerns.
